Avoid Paying For Stretch Mark Lotions

posted in General |

If you’re a woman with stretch marks, you’ve been no doubt targeted by one or more of those annoying commercials for stretch mark creams. The ladies with the perfect skin, the stupid models talking and the voice over sales pitch… it’s gross. So I thought I’d take this article to give you some tips on being able to remove stretch marks without having to spend your hard earned money on one of those obnoxious creams. As crazy as they are, some things about certain ones of them (such as Trilastin) actually work, and we can harness the effective parts of them and gain their benefits from solely natural ingredients. Here goes.

One example of a treatment that many women have described as effective is Lavender oil. Apparently, rubbing Lavender oil on the affected area can have fast results in lessening the size and dulling the color of most stretch marks. You have to be vigilant and consistent with your application but plenty of women believe this to be like gospel.

Another such treatment in the oil family is emu oil. Same deal there really, just keeping the skin very moist with the all natural emu oil, and rubbing the oil in deep to soften the tissue below the outer layer of the skin can be extremely helpful in preventing stretch marks from worsening and aiding the bodies own process of healing the damaged skin cells that result in the appearance of stretch marks.

Even looking at diet type tips, we find recommendations of eating a lot of foods high in Zinc, known to have properties conducive to the healing of the skin. You can either eat more nuts, like peanuts or cashews, or take a zinc supplement as well. Doing this, particularly in combination with applying one of the above mentioned oils can be extremely powerful (not to mention cheap) in fighting off stretch marks.

Finally, it comes down to common sense: Prevention is better than cure. The earlier on in the process you start doing these things, the easier you’ll find it to make a serious dent in the appearance of your stretch marks. You won’t have to look up Trilastin SR in order to beat stretch marks – it will happen on it’s own. All the best of luck!
